GACollege 411:  One-Stop Site for Georgia Students & Families


All students grades 9 - 12 should create an account on GACollege411.org.  It is very easy to do and will be required for transcript exchange, college admissions, HOPE scholarship and many other things!   Come by Guidance if you need help.

The Accel Program is for students classified as high school juniors and seniors at accredited public or private high schools in the state of Georgia, and is operated in all school terms except summer. The program allows students to pursue postsecondary study at approved public and private colleges and technical colleges while receiving dual high school and college credit for courses successfully completed.

SAT On-Line Course Offered by Georgia DOE

To access the FREE SAT on-line course offered by the state of Georgia, please have your student come by Guidance to pick up a card with individual student codes.

Seniors - you can now send your own transcripts electronically to Georgia colleges through GACollege 411.  Follow these steps:  Steps to Submit Transcripts Electronically

Credit Recovery Options ( making up courses failed) for all students have expanded with the addition of Georgia Virtual High School.  See the page under Guidance for more information. 

 Seniors: to view preliminary HOPE transcripts, follow these steps:

1.  Go to gacollege411.org    

2.  Log onto your account.

3.  Click on My 411 in the top left menu bar

4.  Click on My Financial Aid

5.  Click on HOPE GPA Calculation Report

6.  Select MHS

7.  View your report.

Thursday, May 15:  Last regular class day for seniors.

Friday, May 16 & Monday, May 19: Senior Final Exams

Tuesday, May 20: Senior Baccalaureate Service.  Flat Creek Baptist Church, 7:00 PM.

Wednesday, May 21: Underclassmen Final Exams in periods 1 and 4 for non-EOCT and non-AP classes.  We will be on final exam schedule that day.

Thursday, May 22: Underclassmen Final Exams in periods 2 and 5 for non-EOCT and non-AP classes.  We will be on final exam schedule that day.

Friday, May 23: Underclassmen Final Exams in periods 3 and 6 for non-EOCT and non-AP classes.  We will be on final exam schedule that day.

Friday, May 23: Graduation for the Class of 2008.  McIntosh Stadium, 6:00 PM.

Senior Class--Cap and Gown Distribution - Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Caps and Gowns will be distributed for the Class of 2008 on Friday, April 25 during all 3 lunch periods in the lobby of the school.  Be sure to pick yours up!

 

Sophomore Class Information - Thursday, January 10, 2008

Any sophomores that have not yet paid your sophomore dues please do so as soon as possible.  The dues are $25 and can be paid to Mrs. Jones in room 239  (upstairs in the math wing).

Commemorative Bricks

This is the last chance to order a commemorative brick to make a lasting impression on McIntosh High School.  The brick courtyard is located just outside the gym.  Bricks can be purchased for your student, alumni, business, coach, teachers, or any special idea you may have.  The last orders will be take May 1, 2008.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact Debbie Milani at 770-487-6033.
