All science courses at McIntosh are laboratory-based and actively involve students in scientific problem solving. Through instructional laboratories experiences, students will develop research and science process skills, demonstrate proper use and safety with lab equipment, utilize current technology, and work independently or in small groups to develop and implement scientific research.

Science Announcements

Mark Wurster and Philip Stark, owners of El Reposo Mexican Restaurant in Peachtree City, El Reposo Mexican Restaurant, Season Tickets Grill and Tour de Italy Pizza in Fayetteville (across from the hospital), have joined a program to give back to the community.  As a part of this program, anyone who eats at one these four restaurants can turn in their receipts (original sales receipt and not credit card receipt) to Dr. McKelvy and the McIntosh High School science department will get a percentage back (alcohol and gift certificates are excluded).
Students, parents, friends, family, even people you don't know can help out the science department by saving their receipts.
