McIntosh High School Sports/Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame
  • To recognize and preserve the heritage of McIntosh High School.
  • To honor those persons who through distinguished achievement have excelled in one or more high school activity program sponsored by McIntosh High School.
  • To keep alive the history, traditions and spirit of McIntosh High School.
Hall of Fame nominees shall include individuals who through distinguished achievement have excelled in one or more high school athletic program(s) sponsored by McIntosh High School. These individuals may include athletes, coaches, athletic directors and/or school administrators. All candidates will be judged on their significant and/or long-term contributions to McIntosh High School. Other eligibility considerations may include but not limited to:

ATHLETE CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • Must be a post-graduate of McIntosh High School of at least (10) ten years.
  • Must have been a two-year letterman in varsity sport at McIntosh High School.
  • May have been an individual state champion, played on a state champion team or 
  • played competitive athletics at the collegiate level, and/or at the professional level.
COACH/ATHLETIC DIRECTOR/ADMINISTRATOR CRITERIA FOR CONSDIERATION:
  • Must have been a coach at McIntosh High School for at least (5) five years and have established a record of outstanding achievement in interscholastic athletics.
  • May be retired from their field or still active.
  • Must have made contributions to the athletics program of an unusual nature: not covered by other provisions for consideration.
To honor, through the “Distinguished Alumni” Program those graduates of McIntosh High School who have made significant and outstanding contributions to the community, the state or the nation.

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • Achievements may be accomplished by singular acts or life long contributions.
  • Distinguished Alumni candidates must be a post-graduate of McIntosh High School of at least (20) twenty years.
will consist of administrators, coaches, and individuals from the Peachtree City Community that will meet several times during the year to consider candidates when directed by the Committee Chairman (Quarterly and/or Monthly meetings - Six (6) Months Prior to the Fall Inductee Event).
will take place during the Fall Athletic Sports Season (October) of each year with the individuals being introduced during the half- time of a MHS Varsity Football Game and followed by an inductee dinner on that Saturday Evening.
McIntosh High School will be celebrating its 2nd Annual Sports and Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame on October 19th and 20th, 2012 and we invite you to be a part of this prestigious event.

If  you are unable to be a sponsor,  please consider advertising in the souvenir keepsake program that will be published and distributed at the banquet and sold at the football game. Inaugural McIntosh Athletic/Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Induction and Ceremony
The inaugural class of the McIntosh Athletic/Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame was celebrated the weekend of October 14 and 15. During halftime of the McIntosh-Whitewater football game on Friday night October 14th, the five inductees were recognized. Then, on Saturday evening October 15th, their achievements were highlighted at a banquet dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse.
