It is not too late to register your freshman for Camp McIntosh!

In our 3rd year, Camp McIntosh serves as our freshman orientation experience in order to ease the transition into high school.  The camp will be held on July 29 & 30, 2010.

July 29 will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include activities for students such as a building tour, information for success in high school, and lots of fun and games.  Students will learn about effective study skills and organizational habits with Dr. Jason Snow and will receive a special McIntosh binder with instructions on how to use it effectively for success.  Lunch is provided on July 29th.

July 30 will run from 9 a.m. to noon with activities for students and parents.  Students will get their class schedule and their locker and be able to walk the building to find both.  Parents will have a time to meet with Susan Sassnic of Hunington Learning Centers to learn how to help their students organize and complete homework.

Cost for the camp is $25 and includes all activities, lunch, the binder, and a Class of 2014 camp tee shirt!
