McIntosh High School PTSO MINUTES

General Membership Meeting, 14 October 2008

  1. Welcome/Introductions

  1. Principal’s Remarks

Dan Lane reported that Tracie Fleming's mother, Lila Claire Godowns, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 8 October.  She had suffered a massive stroke.  Tracie and her family were with her when she passed.
The McIntosh family extends sympathy to Tracie, her family and the extended Godowns family. The PTSO sent a sympathy card and will purchase a book of Ms. Fleming’s choice for the MHS Media Center honoring her mother’s memory.

    PSATs are this week.

  1. Treasurer's Report

PTSO dues are still coming in.  We have not yet reached our budgeted goal.  The PTSO Dues & Volunteer Form will be posted to the front page of the MHS website under announcements and a reminder for everyone to pay dues will be included on the report cards that go home Monday.

Volunteers will be sought and asked - if possible - to bring in plants, etc. Students who participate will receive service hours.

Nancy will also need to be replaced as her son is also graduating this year.
